“We chose this day trip from Dubrovnik over Montenegro or Bosnia so we wouldn’t have to deal with a border crossing, however at this time of year don’t think that would have been much of a problem. There is a lot of time driving with one hour in Ston and about three hours in Korcula. We were picked up at 07:20 and back at 17:30. The roads are very winding so could be a problem for some. 4.Konavle Valley Wine Tour from Dubrovnik with Train Ride and Wine Tasting

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 37 reviews · 6 hours (approx.) · from $96

Leave Dubrovnik in the afternoon for Konavle Valley, where family wineries, a small countryside train, an old water mill, local crafts, snacks, and Croatian wines fill a six-hour outing. Guides such as Tony and Peter have earned praise for lively commentary, but wine quantities and group sizes can vary.

“Konavle valley wine tour. Picked up from our hotel and taken to three very different vineyards. Each had there own style and character. One had a working flour mill with demo and history, loved this. At each stop the owners brought local crafts and foodstuffs to try and buy. Between the vineyards we were transported on a small land train. Great photo ops. Great wine and lovely people. Our pick of the tours we did on this holiday.”
